Has anyone had the opportunity to use the new Shimano Voltaeus rods yet?  Was feeling them up a couple weeks age at Cabela's and they seemed night  they were light weight, comfortable, and sensitive.  Seemed like a good buy for $40 an was thinkin of picking up a  caster and spinner.  But, I haven't heard anything about them from people that have used them actually in the " field " so was curious.   ~gf

Nope never used one sorry.  The 1st time I saw one was at the Classic, looked ok but felt a bit cheap.

Yea, then again I have only ever had  the rods that come with the zebco 404  and cheap  $15 - $29  walmart  shakespears lol
