Next Meeting...

Now I apparently let my old age of 28 get to me and I forgot to write down when the next meeting was.

Can someone help a brother out?

I know its the end of March... but thats all I can remember. I'll be buying a nice calendar this weekend.

March 26th. Hammy, didn't you say you needed to do some work on the livewells or something. Have you had a chance to look at them

Yes, I am working on rewiring a new livewell switch to my pumps. Apparently my old one no longer likes to shut off when it is set to "auto." It would rather run consistently and sometimes not pump at all. I bought a new switch with a timer on it last year... but haven't had the time to do a good wiring job on it. I'm hoping to work on it the next time its relatively warm... this weekend it just didn't work out.

If your pump runs but does not pump water then it has an air lock. Turn the pump on and if you hear it running but it won't pump then put your boat in reverse and back up with a little throttle thereby forcing water to the pump and then no more air lock.

Oh it pumps... just not when my lights are on. It seems that there is some sort of short in my wiring. I pulled everything and tried to make sense of it, but I'm not sure. The only thing I did last year that was electrical was take off/remove the trim gauge and install a water pressure gauge. $:-\$

So they pump.. its just that they don't stop running when in auto mode. I'll try to tweak it and keep you posted.

I wonder if the timer switch for the auto is bad. At least they run and if its constantly thats not really a bad thing. I run mine constantly in the summer a lot

Was it just me or did we not throw a date out there for the next meeting/draw date?

I know I use to zone off in college so maybe I was just having a flash back.

FYI Tdt... got the boat on the water this evening for the first time this year. Besides braving the storm that blew through the boat seemed to run fine after she finally warmed up. I still have issues with the livewells and apparently the port side well has decided to stop working. I think a wire came undone, so I will do some work later this week or next weekend. It just felt good to get out on the water... run... and fish for about an hour and a half after warming the motor up.

Just realized that it gonna blow not knowing who I'm paired with until 2 days before.

I got so many rods that I need to go over how many I am allowed to bring.
