Bassman

Just so all you other ProCraft owners can get a warm fuzzy, other boat owners don't know what they are missing.  Some of you know me and others don't so...  I am running a 2009 210 Super Pro strapped with a Merc 250 Pro XS.

I was a camera boat driver for the Bassmasters Classic this past weekend and had the pleasure of making the run to Coushatta 2 of the 3 days.  The Daytona 500 out the lock on both days was a mad house so the first time I just hung back and let the anglers get a lead so I could ride down without getting tossed like cheerios in a bowl of milk.

The final day of the Classic I drew Mike Iconelli.  First thing in the lock that morning my camera man was in Ike's boat and called me saying his camera was dead and I need to come get him so we could stop at the HWY 84 bridge and get a new one.

He was in a hurry of course, not wanting to miss any of the action, so off we went.  To get to the point, the new boat handled the waves like it should, and we took off!  I was running between 76-77 MPH on the GPS and passing darn near every boat I could when the waves permitted it.  Skeeters, Bass cats, the new "fast" Triton X3, all looked good when I went by them!   ;D

Now I know they were loaded down with gear, but so was I.  FULL tank of gas, Camera equipment, and two people.  Don't let anyone tell you guys otherwise! the new Procrafts can hang up there with the big boys any day!!!
