I have noticed that braid definately transmits signals better than mono, however it also is more visible, do you find certain situations that one is definately better suited than the other?

You have 2 rods, one is a nice graphite rod in the mid price range while the other is an absolutely top of the line graphite. you get a light hit on a worm, could you rate the feel you get on each rod on a scale of one to ten? just to give me an idea as to how important a top rod is versus a good rod.

Also what percentage of your worm bites do you feel the hit versus see or feel the line moving after the initial hit?
I notice that a good percentage of plastic fish I catch I do not feel the thump just feel pressure or see my line move.
