my name is tim, i go to baylor u, i am the founder of the baylor bass club and a member of the phi delta theta fraternity. i am originally from kemp, tx which is on cedar creek lake. i also fish purtis creek very frequently. i am aspiring to become a pro fisherman and my website will be up soon.

Thanks for the Welcome Laurie. Hope to be a worthy contributor and student here as well. Not much of a Basser. I have nabbed a few dozen over the years. Had the best Bass trip of my life in June on my Honeymoon.
Small mouth Bass on Lake Michigan, out of Door county Wi. I went out on a 6hr charter and we really got into them.
If anyone is interested I can give you the name of the charter I went out with.

I've been checking out the site over the last couple of days. Lots of good stuff.

I particularly like the individual lake reports that go back multiple years.

Its nice to know that I can go back and look at historical data(even though they may be somewhat exaggerated

) to develop a gameplan for fishing a specific lake at any given time of the year.

Noooooo. I would never accuse anyone of doing that.

It's just that my catch and release fish on practice days always seem to carry a little more weight than my weigh fish on tournament day. I'm not sure how that happens.

Welcome to UB and I am glad that you have found something here that you like. I hope that many years will pass and that we will continue to gather fishing reports, and helpful tips and information here for the bass fisherman. For those of you that aren't regular bass anglers welllllll you have a lot to learn and a lot of folks that will be glad to help you out.

Don't forget to make sure that even though you might not fish for bass that you can always leave a fishing report in your state, just make sure to identify the species of fish it is for in the title

Reading all of the stuff on this forum makes me want to go bass fishing so badly. Too bad i'm not old enough to drive yet, so i cant find good spots a little farther away from me than my usual fishing grounds. No matter, just gotta start stocking up different types of gear so that im ready when the time comes (or for one of those specal occasions where my parents are willing to drive me more than 15 minutes away

) Nothing is better for this than free gear either!
