Hi all,

Just stumbled upon this great website and thought it would be nice to to say Hi and show you guys my new topwater lure!
I think it might be a good one for bass as well... I fish for pike myself.

That is a good looking bait Luckylure, so how do you make them? Do you buy the lure and paint it or hand carve?

Think about being a sponser on UB so you can have a link to your site on the right side of this page!

That's a sweet looking rainbow trout topwater.
Can you share some info of how you made it, like materials, it's size, weight etc. You are right, I think bass would love that lure.

Thnx guys!

Here are the specs:
The Trigger is a fat topwater bait. It does a wicked walk the dog with a slapping tail moving a lot of water. It flanks a little while 'walking' and this will cause bright flashing due to the underneath foiling.
This bait has to be worked to get the proper action but when you develop a
good feeling for the rhytm you can also make it jump just like a real
trout feeding on flies!

* Made from a solid resin; tough, practically indestructible and buoyant.
* All ss hardware.
* 3D molded eyes.
* length: 6 inches
* weight: 60 grams
* Foiled and aibrushed using pearlized colors with color shifting
* 4 layers of epoxy.

I make the molds myself, the original was handcarved from oak.

Carved from Oak :shocking: What are you, a beaver? That's great work, show us some catches on it when you get a chance.

Beautiful trout pattern. ~c~
How does the foiling process work? I like how it adds that silver effect to the bait even beneath the paint. What type of paint do you use? I strictly use Createx because of the amount of choices and it sprays very well. Thanks! ~cf
