Take some frozzen bottles of water along when you fish from the shore so when they thaw out later you will have something to drink.

Take a towle or rag with you so you can wet it and put it around your neck to cool off.

make sure AND HAVE YOUR SUNGLASSES because the sun will burn your retnas,plus to help see shallow fish.

take a cloth with rubbing alochol in a ziplock in the cooler so every now and then wippe yopur face and skin to open up your poors.to seweat.

if standing all day try and take another pair of socks with you and change out after a half-day, it makes your feet feel better.

take plenty of water, sports drinks are fine but not to many, remember your body dont sweat out gatoraide,

instead of eating a three course meal while fishing, i always take snacks, less filling when hot, and you wont make yourself sick.

i prepare myself a week before a hot tournamnet, by drinking juices and lot of water, and staing outside allitle more to get used tio the heat.

i try and acclimate my body the week before a hot tournament,for instance mow my grass in the middle of the day instad of morning or evening

days before a hot tournament i load up on grapes, cantelope and watermelon and try and drink 8-10 glasses of water a day

Freeze my water the night before...Helps them stay cold longer in the ice chest even if all the ice melts.

they make a liitle umbreela that fits on your hat, it works great for shading your head.
