fish areas with lots of timber to avoid jet skis and pleasure boaters

Creel Limit Zero

Extra ice in the cooler for the water.  Always freeze a couple of the water bottles too.

blake711

if you hear thunder that means lightning is aroudn so go to the house asap.

Creel Limit Zero

Extra ice for the live well.  Want those fish to stay alive when I bring them in to weigh.

blake711

if bad weather catches you on the lake.. Pull your boat to shore tie ti up and get to safty under some trees

Sharon

we keep our rain ponchos in the truck, sure rains every night we go.

Creel Limit Zero

Fish as early in the day, or as late in the day as possible to avoid when the  ~sun is high.  Also, less pressure on the water at those times from recreational anglers.

Sharon

I dont like sunscreens. but I will wear sun protection.

Creel Limit Zero

Try to take days off of work to fish during the week.  This also has less pressure from other boaters and anglers.

Sharon

spray bottle with ice water,, if it gets too hot, I can spritz myself head to toe, without fear of becoming gator bait.

Creel Limit Zero

Bring lots of towels to wipe off the sweat.  Also can be used to sit down, those seats can get hot in the  ~sun
