I bought a bag of White Zoom trick worms and got an idea. Here is an ordered list:
Washed them in warm water 80-90F
Put in Boiling water-5 at a time- stirred so it dident melt, pulled out when they were hot to touch ( outside of water)
put in washing water now at 70-80F
When it somewhat cooled off
Put in fridge
Then take out, dry off worms, then roll up in towel and put in freezer
Take out
Poke millions of holes in it
Soak with Carolina Lunker Sauce i have Crawfish scent, and let it sit in the ziploc bag
take out when you want to fish!
* Caution- Caroulina Lunker Sauce RUSTS HOOKS,
Ask any questions if you have any

Wash them to get rid of the rubber smell, put in warm water idk just dident wwant to go from 180F water to 35Fish fridge. Boiling makes the lures more moblie, or, they wiggle like crazy, did tests, stretched worms, regular, boiled, ect... and boiled did the best so far. The durability probobly too ka dive thought. Washing water is the water  you used to clean them in the first place or new water. And you just check, i took them out when they werent hot anymore i guess 5-10 min in fridge and about 30min in freezer. And the holes plus the recent boil made the lure softer and allow it to take in the scent and holes to help keep the scent in longer while fishing. And no, im not trying to make them float. Hope i answered all your questions  ~sweat

I would think that after poking a million holes in them that they are well tenderized  lo
