Randy Howell to visit Ultimatebass.com

As most of you know, pro angler Randy Howell endorses my How To Get Sponsored For Fishing Tournaments manual (www.fishforfree.com).  I consider myself very fortunate to have his endorsement and even more fortunate to personally know Randy and his family.

I asked Randy if he would be willing to stop by ultimatebass.com one night, for about a half an hour, to field some questions.  As busy as he is fielding hundreds of emails, he agreed!! WooooHoooo! ;D

After I spoke with Randy I immediately called Laurie to see if it would be ok to have him on the site so he could take some of your questions.  She too agreed! WooooHoooo!! ;D

So, here's your chance to talk with the professional bass angler Randy Howell on Thursday August 11th at 8:00 p.m. (EST), 7:00 p.m. (CST) right here on Ultimate Bass!!!!

Since we expect quite a few questions we may ask that you submit them early to Laurie or myself.  Please do not submit questions to Randy in advance, as he is constantly trying to find time to personally reply to the backlog of questions he has.  He'll answer as many as he can when he stops by on August 11th.

Oh, in the mean time, be sure to check out the BRAND NEW www.cafepress.com/fishforfree site.  There are 2 shirts (male and female) that show Randy's smiling face and an 11 oz. coffee mug.  Can you see yourself drinking coffee with Randy Howell every morning or sporting a t-shirt with Randy on the front.  They're not available anywhere else!!!!

Watch for more details as the date draws nearer!!!!

This is going to be really awesome!!

Here is everyones chance to straight up ask a Top Professional Fisherman that is doing very well on the big trails, that burning question you have been wanting answered. So think about it and be ready, I imagine with the limited time he can give us that it will go by very quickly, so be ready and have your questions lined up.

Think about everything from what is the best equipment to what would you do it this situation type of things.

This is going to be a awesome deal for Ultimate Bass and all our it's members. Lets show Randy what a great community we have here and that we appreciate his time. This is a great opportunity for all of us, so lets make sure we make good use of his time :-*

I'm looking forward to Randy's visit with us.  For those of you that haven't had the fortune of meeting Randy, he is a super guy.  I had the chance to learn some things from him back in 2000 at a Bassmasters University weekend here in Ohio.  Between Randy, Woo Daves and Larry Nixon, I felt it was money well spent.  Then add David Fritz, Alton Jones and more.  What a super experience!

Unfortunately he probably won't be an active membewr of ultimatebass.com.  His shcedule is always filled with sponsor requests, angler email questions, and his family.  It's pretty hectic life he has.

It would be nice though.....................

Mike Cork

It would be awsome if he could become an active member, but we all must understand that a professional anglers time is valuable especially with his family and he will be doing this on his family time. So.... with that said that make sure we treat him right so hopefully we can get him to visit us again in the future  :-* Don't forget that this will be after the classic so there might be a question or two there, dealing with his opinion of winning patterns and such :-*

Good call, there should be some questions about that.   ~c~

Keep in mind................Randy is (unfortunately) NOT fishoing the Classic in Pittsburgh this year.......he just missed qualifying.

I was watching that Fish For Free, he was very close but I bet he would still have some great inputs :-*

Should we start a thread for him somewhere so that the members can add their questions as they think of them?

I think that would be a good idea.

The only problem is if the list gets to be too big and there's like 300 when he comes on.  Which ones does he answer?   :-\

Fishaholic

weird idea...how about take the first 25 reasonable questions turned in and make a poll and let the members decide which questions they'd like answered the most.

Brilliant.............absolutley Brilliant Fishaholic ~c~ ~c~ ~c~

I like the way you think!!
