Fishaholic

LIKE - Rooster Tail, they come in a vast variety of colors and weights and can be worked very slow in comparison to the amount of weight of the bait...and they cast a mile...great for schooling bass

Fishaholic

DISLIKE - Panther Martin spinnerbaits...although a lot of people swear by them, I find that their unique design is prone to collecting fine strand weeds and in the wind, the line sometimes gets up an over the blade that caused serious problems for the line.

Fishaholic

LIKE - Cavitron Buzz Baits, although I'm not convinced it's the slowest buzzbait on the market, I do like the unique sound it makes and the fact that I've had bass totally destroy 3 of em already tells me they're great!

Fishaholic

LIKE - Uncle Buck's Bucktail Skirt Buzzer...similar to a bait that Blue Fox used to make, it's awesome for buzzing through the pikeweed in the early morning or late afternoon, but on overcast days they'll work all day long, comes standard with a trailer hook.

Fishaholic

DISLIKE - SNAG PROOF Perfect Frog...yeah, I got a lot of blow-ups on the bait, but setting the hook into a fish, well, that's another story...poor hook-up ration

Fishaholic

LIKE - 9" Mann's Augertail worms...real bass killer, but the few I've got left will be gone soon and I've not seen any listed anywhere for a long time...when nothing else worked, the augertail worm could entice even the neutral feeding bass

Fishaholic

DISLIKE - Storm ThinFin...although the baits come in a fantastic series of unique color combinations, they never seem to run true and the amount of time it takes to get one to run right is unreasonable.

Fishaholic

DISLIKE - Bagley Balsa B...beautiful looking baits, cast like a dream, but I've never hooked a fish on one yet!

Fishaholic

LIKE - Kicker Baits, bird dawg the bait imitates a variety of aquatic creatures that bass feed on and worked great for me in the Spring

Fishaholic

DISLIKE - Kicker Baits bird dawg, although it's an awesome bait, I find the fact that the color choices are extremely limited...needs to be available in a wider range of colors.

Fishaholic

LIKE - Bass Stalker jigs, they come in a variety of colors, weights and styles and with or without sound attractors, the packaging is such that you can slip a handfull of em in your bag or your pockets conveniently...it's a keeper!

Fishaholic

LIKE - Mega Strike...the fish hold on longer...that's all that matters!

Fishaholic

LIKE - F18 Floating Rapala in silver n black, it's a great twitchin' bait early mornings and works great as a rip bait or even for dead-sticking em.

BassBUFF

I like the Wobblehead lure in warm water (80+). Used with a straight tail worm it has an awesome snake-like swimming action. You can use other worms to get a different action (ex...ribbon tails gives less side to side and more lift). Make sure to use a swivel and fish them real slow.

BassBUFF

I like to fish Rattle Traps in the Spring and Fall over shallow grass beds, just ticking the grass.

BassBUFF

Zoom speed tail worms are great over matted grass and through lilly pads in the early morning or late evening. Just one drawback- the tail likes to break off after a little while.

BassBUFF

Mann's Baby 1- in the Fall retrieved as fast as you can burn it back will load up the boat. Best colors are dark crawfish patterns. Very few hang ups, comes through grass and timber very well due to it's wide wobble.

chompers tubes, the ultra tube is a lure i like to use flipping, the scent is already in the bait, helps the fish to hold onto a little linger.
