just finished this Muskie. i hadn't done a Muskie pattern before so i thought i'd give it a try. it came out bigger than planned ( 12" ) :o but it swims great. will have to downsize the next one.

John, you need to invest in a fish taxidermy book...........they give you all the paint schedules for mounting fish, just use it on your baits.......

--its official, i have no more secrets when it comes to painting crankbaits........oh, wait.....I HAVE 1 MORE SECRET WHEN IT COMES TO PAINTING CRANKBAITS

I personally don't think the 12" size is too big.  Would not mind that bad boy for my Musky lure box!

LOL, send it on up to me, I'll tell you if it's too long first hand by feeding it to some muskies!  Our big pig time of year is right now till the end of November.

Nice Work!  ~c~  How many hours go into creating something like that?

Probably alot! First you have to tow your boat to the lake, then catch the darn thing, then bring it home and epoxy it while it's still wet! lol.........Great looking bait Larry!
