Wipe down.

Fold a dish towel into 4th's and place it in the "V" of your transom saver.  Not only does this keep your lower unit looking good and scratch free, you have a towel handy to wipe down your rig when you get it back on the trailer.

Me too....my brand new OptiMax is all scratched where it goes into the transome saver.....

hmm, neither of our motors are scratched from the transom savers and they are old (1990)..... interesting
