Is there a Tracker section?

Sorry for the painfully obvious question, but I want to ask to make sure I'm not just overlooking it...

Is there a dedicated Tracker section, similar to the other brands in the "Bass Boat" forum?

I see the "Aluminum Bass Boats" section in the "General Bass Boat Discussion" forum, but it seems odd to me that a boat as popular (I think?) as the Bass Tracker wouldn't have a dedicated forum like those I mentioned above.

Thanks in advance for your help!

I will pass along your interest in a board for Tracker boats.  We are glad you found UB and look forward to your participation on the site.

May I be the first to second Chris' suggestion?  Or the second to first it.  Anyway, I have to believe there are a lot more Bass Trackers out there than any glass boat brand.

Ron Fogelson

We are talking this over right now and want to thank you all for the suggestion.  Our discusion is based on the members needs versus the work of making the board.  If we put up a Tracker board, we have to make it, find a Mod for it and get enough topics in it to give it a good start.  If we don't put one up then how many new and old members are missing out on having a board of their own.

So any time any member want or thinks UB could use a board by all means let us know your thoughts and when doing so all we ask is that you the members be ready to post new topics, questions and support the board to ensure the creation is successful.

Might I suggest posting some tracker info / questions / tips / suggestions in the Aluminum Bass Boats board over the next week or so and we can evaluate the responce of our members to make an informed decision based on the need / participation.

We will revisit the topic again at a later date and or if anyone has questions or ideas please let us know.

Thanks
Fogy

In my post "What brand of aluminum do you own?", there are a ton of Tracker owners who left post, and the topic has received almost 10,000 views.

I'd love to see a Tracker section.  ~c~

I hope you get as many years out of your Tracker as my 1984 Tournament TX has given.  I just put a new 50 hp Mercury on it this year and I have ordered a replacement windshield.

about every time i go to lake i will see trackers, some that are 20 years old.and ya  know if you talk to them guys they most always tell you how much they like em and have enjoyed em.but aside from a good safe ride, and a good safe fishing platform(thats whats they all are anyways),i dont have to worry about the bank waiting at ramp to repo my boat.wonder how many rangers and tritons have been repoed in last 5 years. lo

Tracker owners always seem to be the red-headed step children of most bass fishing circles.  Until I was sent to North Dakota, I never got any respect...up here most bass boat owners get no respect.  There is an up side tho...all the bass fishing up here gets left to those of us who really enjoy it!  In the past, buddies would...ok, still do...kid me about buying a tracker, told me it would fall apart in short order.  There is another guy in my club up here (badlandsbassbandits.com) who runs a tracker, it's old but very reliable!  So, yes, I would really like to see a Tracker Owners section as well...

It was fun yesterday whooping up on those $50k rigs in my tournament, "and 3rd place goes to.... the guy in the TRACKER?".  I love it  lo

I know what you mean, I have also had other boat owners argue with me that "there's no way in hello that boat is aluminum"...then I always have to show them under the hatches where the metal can be seen.  Most are pretty impressed after that.  Never be able to figure out why Tracker discontinued the model...no way it could have anything to do with this boat being able to beat the pants off the Nitro in the same class.

I would also like to see a Tracker section here. I have an '04. Could have, as some of you guys, bought a more expensive boat, but don't see where spending more gave me more. I really like my Tounament V 18. I upgraded my motor to a 90 4stroke and it's all I need and then some. The boat has preformed flawlessly in good weather and bad. Takes the rough water very well. This all being said by a novice, no pro or expert by any means. I see other, much older Trackers on the water and from where I'm sitting, they appear to be quite content, chugging along, happy as a clam. Later guys. Tom :-)

A sub-forum could be added to the Aluminum Boat Section and the threads on Tracker boats from the last couple of years moved to it. This would give it a base to add to. Just a thought.

Think the Ultimate Bass forum is beneficial to you then help support it by becoming a Charter Member

One of my club members beat out 20 other club members last weekend at Lake Seminole fishing from the back seat of my 1984 Bass Tracker Tournament TX.  His newest reel is at least 20 years old.

I've won quite a few Tournaments from my 1987 Tracker Tournament V 17 with a 75 horse Mariner. Still dry doesn't leak and gets me where I want to go even in 4 and 5 foot swells. She ain't fast but she's steady and ready.

I'm with you there Bass1cpr...I've got a 99 marshawk 175 with a force 75, (believe the boat was made by tracker marine, I know the trailer is)  anyhow, it geets me to where I need in very skinny water where alot can't, it does 38-40 not fast but its steady and I can throttle back and still maintain plane and reduce gas consumption.  Do I wish I had a bigger faster boat...yes sometimes

Looks like we are getting quite a few tracker folks  ~c~ ~c~ Keep posting tips / ideas / and questions in the Aluminum boat board so we can continue to grow this idea and while we start looking for a moderator.

16ft 1985 BassTracker with the original 35 Hp Merc. This is my second year with it and I can't wait to get it out on the water. For some reason this one has no rear deck so I am looking for ideas on how to create a rear casting deck and some much needed storage.
