wehrspann june 17: More Horny Toads please...

just got back from an intersting evening at Wehrspann (Chalco)...water levels are down almost 2 feet since Sunday...it's starting to clear up...

Found bass in the weeds...tossing a Horny Toad...color didn't seem to matter 'much'...got a couple 17-18 inchers...always fun...they just exploded on the toad...

Water temps:  80°F

Fish were shallow...seemed to do best when I'd land the frog on the shoreline...before starting the retrieve...

TOAD UP!
