took the smallmouth bait with me to my son's so we could make a video of it. pretty short as he was anxious to get some other stuff done so we went to a small stream by his house instead of the dock where we did the others.
pretty nice action and on a longer cast will dive about 12"

It has great lifelike action  ~c~ ~c~
......but the color looks much different in the water, much lighter!
Do they swim like that just with a simple retrieve or do you use any kind of rod movement ??  Also, do you use a big snap link with your lures ??

i think the angle we were shooting caught more of the light reflecting off the back of the lure. normal reeling retrieve. i was using an old Diawa Millionaire reel with a ratio of 5.1 i think. it's 20 years old so it is not a fast ratio reel. i start off with a couple of fast cranks and then slow it down a little. i generally use a snap on my lures but it works as well with the line tied direct.
here is the crappie video. my daughter helped me with this one . she doesn't fish so has no idea about retrieving a lure. she just held the rod and walked down the dock pulling the lure past me  ::)

The movement on both is excellent.  Nice job.

In the end, it's not going to matter how many breaths you took, but how many moments took your breath away.

That video is fine. It's not crappie at all.  ~roflmao
