Tell you what.... why don't YOU go have that beer. ;) Never lost my smile. I was smiling when I just wrote this even. The man asked a question, I answered, along with others. The man asked me a question I had already answered, I answered it again. When he asked the question ONE MORE TIME that had already been answered, I figured he wasn't reading the answers to his own post or he wouldn't ask a question that had been answered on the forum for the third time, plus sending me pm's asking the same question again. If a person has the time to ask questions, they should also have the time to read the replies. Otherwise, they may as well be talking to themselves. Or, maybe you can answer the million dollar question(s) for the man. ;)

Ok Josh or would you like me to start calling you (The Man) no more picking on Allen his true personality shows up more then anyone wants to see   ::)

JB, if Ranger told you that, they lied to you. I can tell you that the boats named so far as being all composite in this thread are indeed all composite and wood free. I have pictures of my Blazer being built at the factory, before the top cap was joined to the hull. I can assure you there is no wood in my transom, or anywhere else in the build.

Same with Strokers!!

Allen Shadd

Wow.  You guys just make me want to cry.  :'( :'( ::) Make you a deal there Big Joush, you won't have to ever worry about me answering any of your questions, even once, if you promise not to pm with the same questions anyway. ;) Later guys.

get a tracker....they're all aluminum.  Triton makes a nice tin boat as well ~cf ~cf

If you want fiberglass a nice starter boat would be a nitro or a bullet >:D >:D >:D ;)

lo Spetro, a Bullet has wood in it (some anyway). Even though they are one of the finest made boats on the water, and even though you never hear of any wood rot issues with them, that would be because there is a lot more craftsmanship that goes into them than a good majority of the 'all composite' boats on the market. That was part of the original question, even if the answers don't get read. lo While you may have been having fun with your reply, the truth is that for a first time boat buyer, it's hard to beat a Tracker aluminum rig, unless they intend to fish big water.

Hey BIGJoush,
You asked a good question and did get lots of good answers.
I think the best way for you to get the info you want is to choose 3-4 boat manufactures and go to their web sites. You can also ask people here on the boat boards like Triton boat board, Stratos, Legend etc etc.
Another way to get answers is to run a search on google or a similar search engines.
I think this thread went its course and its time to move on.  :-*

Bigjoush, SilverSalmon's remark was towards me, not you. ;) And he's right, That last remark I made in Spetro's reply was uncalled for, my bad ~b~. I did actually try to give you answers to help in the earlier posts, as did everyone else. I hope you got at least some useful information out of it.

I bought a Stratos last year. 18XLSC. All composite as far as I know. You can check them out at their website. I love the boat. Get's on plane quick and the 150 hp Merc runs like a bat out of hades. Have seen close to 50 mph and still had throttle left. Very satisfied .
A bad day on the lake beats any day at my office!

most boats are composite on the hulls but the top caps has some wood on them there are exceptions mostly the high end boats ie: the I class skeeter is aluminum.  most have a life time hull warranty to the first owner top cap not included. I don't know every boat  I have a 2007 nitro it has wood in the topcap It is a composition wood ((has foam in it)  before that a stratos had wood in that also
