Which Shimano Clarus is better?

Hey guess I am new to Bass fishing but iam very eager to try it.  I think iam gonna stick with the Shimano Clarus, but i dont know which one work best.  The two choice iam debating on are Shimano Clarus 6'6 MH or the Shimano Clarus 7'0 MH.  Which one would you guys prefer and why...?  Also what reel do you guys recommend?  I want to spend under 50 for the reel if possible since iam alittle tight on $$.  :) ~cf  BTW the rod is a Trigger rod not spinner.

both of those rods are very versitile.....i use them for many of the same applications.....IMO the 7' gives a little more back bone on a hookset so i think you are good with whatever one you choose......

take a look at the diawa megaforce i think its 65$ or something like that and has been getting great reviews everywhere i really havent heard a bad thing about them.....i personally love mine as well....

Ok i guess iam gonna stick with the 7'0.  The amazing thing was that i was also thinking about the Daiwa Megaforce as well.  You think it's worth the money?  ~gf  Thanks Bud.

Sorry I can't comment on the Clarus rods as I have never used them, but I will back up what tmiller2 said about the Megaforce....
I have one of these reels and it is an awesome reel for it's price...highly recomend them!!!!

Ok thanks for the feedback i guess ill end up purchasing a Megaforce since i heard a lot of good stuff about them. 



What u guys think about the Shimano Clarus rods?  Are they worth the 65 bux? v~
