i got a pflueger supreme for cheap from work.....someone dropped it in the water and it got a little messy so they brought it back and our managers didnt notice....but i looked at it and they said 40$ and its yours...couldnt pass that up.....but the first time i used it i just tapped the magnetic break setting and the magnets snapped off on the inside.....what should i do?  the plastic literally snapped and wont go back on... it still works just fine with the centrifugals  but without a receipt or anything is it even worth calling the company?  prob is but what would y'all do?

I'm with Dug on this one. Worst they could say is no. Maybe they'd repair it for a nominal charge and then you'd still have a nice reel at a decent price. Call 'em, it's worth a phone call.

Call them, tell them you don't have your receipt anymore (flood, fire, dog ate it), they will know what year it is by model number. Pfueguer is actually really good about their stuff.

1-800-347-3759 if nothing else get them to send you the part you need ;)

I agree, if nothin else you can order the replacement parts, I bet for what it costs in parts you are still better off than buyin a new one.

That's going to be the anti reverse bearing ~rant pretty simple to change if they send you the bearing ;)
