Ram Mounts need a little grease too.

Not sure if anyone else has had a Ram mount with this problem.  Had the knob strip between the brass threaded insert and the plastic of the knob.  Had to cut the damn thing off.  Talked with the reps at Ram and they told me to put a little bit of grease on the threads and it will make life a lot easier.  When you tighten the knob you will be able to loosen it with out stripped it.

Good tip.     I'd hate to get to my spot and not be to release my trolling motor stabilizer.  Thanks.
