More Santee custom Pop-R's

Hope ya'll aren't tired of seeing these, but I thought they turned out pretty darn good.
I modify them to get the action right, and a friend paints them. The pics really don't do the paint jobs justice...

wow those are sweet.  are you buying the bodies and then painting ?

ive heard that folks use a screen to paint the scales, is that how you did these ?

Yes, there are Pop-r bodies that I'm modifying the way that Zell Rowland does.
I learned how he does it a few years ago. They will absolutely out fish a standard Pop-r!

Santee- I love modding topwater lures as well. We talked a little about them on one of your previous threads. I have a question for you. Do you just buy the lures from the store or do you have a source for the bodies alone? Nice lures btw
