Fished Cypress Friday night also from 2230 till 0300.  We caught one on a black spinner off a dock and that's it.  We tried brush hogs and big worms without any luck.  We did manage two gar with a bow.

Where are the public launches to cypress?  I wanna go fishing early and the park doesnt open until 7am..

On the way to the park is a gas station on the right side of the road.  Take that right and it will bring you up to the public boat launch.  It's on the left side of the road.  Cant miss it.

This is probably too late...but at the Country Corner store (Parks Road) take a right.  Follow that road and you will come to the public ramp.

Fished Cypress last night in the tournament.  Only managed 4 fish that would weigh and they were all small...no big bites.  Small turnout...only paid 2 places and both the top 2 weights were over 11 pounds.  Don't think anyone that went to Black Bayou came to the weigh-in.  Water temp was about 94 at blast off.  Fish came on a pop-r and plastic.  Very tough night.

Three boats at Black Bayou and all had five unders. Everybody tossed back and left at 12:55 or so.

Mike Noble

I think everyone will be happy with "five unders" tonight.

Didn't get the details on the winning weights but did hear one of the top 2 say they had all their fish before 8:30 p.m.
