Fished Cypress today from 1300-1830 and boated 5 big Crappies, 2 Bream, 2 catfish and 1 yellow bass. Caught most on a bettle spin in 2-5'. Water was 70-75 and stained. all but 2 fish came off of stick-ups. Hope this helps some else find them.

I am from Lafayette. I usually fish Toledo Bend, Cany Lake, Chicot Lake. But I do need to get on some new waters. There are alot of lakes here locally that i have never been to. Do you recomend any?  :help:Well thanks alot and its is good to be here.

Well up in our neck of the woods I fish Bisteneau, Cypress, Cross, &  Caddo most time om the water is Bisteneau because I live about 2 miles from the ramp  ~c~  Just fun to get out on the water for a hour or so after work.

Fished Cypress Yesterday from about 1300 or so till 1715.  Boated 12 and missed several.  Hardest thing was to know to set the hook hard or not.  LOL  Set it one time and the lure comes back with crappie lips and the next time don't set the hook hard enough and a bass goes airborn and toss the spinnerbait.

I never managed to hook a crappie all were bass and all but 2 bass were small, like 8 to 10 inches.  The larger ones went just over 2 and a nice fat 3.5

Water was warm at 69 and 72 found a few spots very very muddy and never go a bite there but working the wind blown backs and covered water was the ticket.

See you on the water.
