I think I will make this one, missed the last one, couldn't get a babysitter. i fished the lake yesterday evening for about three hours, didn't get a bite.

What's the entry fee and what time do you have to check in by?

Entry fee is $30 for 2 people, $25 for one person.  ($20 for places and $5 per person for big bass).  Blast off is 7:00 p.m.  I would definitely get checked in no later than 6:45.

Fished the night tourney last night. We only caught 5 fish with only 2 able to weigh. I think we weighed in 4.24 pounds. We didn't stay for the  end of the weigh in but I heard someone had an 18# stringer. Maybe JR or Chris can post the results.

All but one of our fish came on a firetiger spinnerbait before dark along a 30 ft stretch of bankline. Caught one on a brushhog at about midnight off a lighted dock. We could not get a topwater bite at all!

No, its not tonight.  The next one is next Friday, July 23.

Are they skipping tonight? I thought they had one tonight. They have been falling on the weekends I have my daughter and I have her this weekend.

Maybe they knew that James and decided to skip tonight.  No, the schedule I have from the start did not have one tonight...a three week skip from the last one to July 23.

I fished Cypress a couple of nites this  week and didnt catch shit!  Maybe I should move over to Black since thats were all the fish are.

Terry and I went monday morning. had five bites biggest was 5lb's but the weired thing was that her tail was bloody like fanning a bed but that could not be in july??? but was fun any way. fished the last friday tourny.. fished same pattern that i fished in feburary club tourny.. had three to weigh lost one, had two to short. so look forward to sat.. hope the pattern will hold up for one more day ..

Thanks for the post, I think I am going to try it Friday evening but wont be able to fish at night so don't know how much it will help. Anyone else going to meet at Strams on airline, we will be there at 3 pm

It's usually every other, but sometimes calander holidays confict and they change it up. Hey I am going to Cypress with Nathan tonight. Maybe we will see you out there? If you go to black let us know how you did as we are fishing the Twin Cities Team Club there tommorrow night. By the way you are more than welcome to come out and fish in it with us, there is no membership fee and the entry fee is only $30, call Nathan or someone to fish with you.
