This is my first post so I will introduce myself. My name is Aaron and I've lived on the North side of Caddo ( potters point) for about 7 years now. I just started working with Mr. Hawg wild (scotty) and he told me about the site.  Lets get to the fishing report

Tuesday( 4pm -dark)- Wind Advisory 25-35 mph ( not good for my 16ft aluminum boat) Started out in Ames spring basin flipping around some of the shallow cypress with a lizard. Picked up dos pescados that were both solid slot fish. There were no eggs in either bass. Afterwards, we caught two in the bayou that were both just over and full of eggs .one on an h&h and one on a regular size spinner...ran back out to fish a little deeper water late and my buddy hung a 4lber (skinny fish) with a hernia coming out of his side on the lizard...pretty huge and pretty gross.Never seen anything like it. Boated a 5.5 lber right b4 dark on a fluke and my buddy lost one that looked about that size on the lizard. got off in the great Brazilian plants we have in the lake. Overall, I thought we had an awesome day bc we caught bigger fish.  Water clarity was awesome and a good sign that there are more big fish still to come. Get ready for April!  ~cf

Wednesday(4pm-dark)- I have been humbled..Way too much confidence coming off  Tuesday. I caught two small fish and my buddy only hung into one. She was full of eggs and came off the same h&h spinner he caught his on the day b4... She was probably pushing 6lbs.. He threw out to get a backlash out and she hit it in the open water. He was out pretty far and that battle lasted maybe 15 seconds....got off on the second jump.. No fish on trees today...Wind was even more intense and starting to affect the water clarity

Thursday(4pm-dark)- I felt like we were in the movie "the perfect storm"...Ran to Jap Island/ big green to get out of the wind..One of those days where you get delirious and start talking crap to the fish bc they wont hit anything. Caught 3 14-16 inch fish right before sunset between the two of us. Water is nothing like it was Tuesday on the northshore....Thought we were going to get skunked....I may need to find a new hobby lol :surrender:

Welcome to the board and thanks for the reports.  Sounds like you had a good day Tuesday.

If I were you I would stick close to Scottie at work and maybe some of whatever he has will rub off on you, because he can sure catch some good ones. ;D

Welcome Aaron we are glad to have you. I am your neighbor to the south of you. I live on the south shore (Swansons Landing)  channel marker A96 to be exact. My boat is a dual consol 18 ft Skeeter which is red and white. I have not fished on Caddo at all this week but some how I did manage to win the first Cross Lake TNT yesterday. With that kind of luck maybe I'll rip a few 10 pounders in the morning. Hey it doesn't hurt to dream!!!!!!!

Hey caddolake...i may see you on caddo saturday. will be in a white/red ranger fishing 3. don't know how that' s going to go. good luck

I'll be up the drag races all day saturday. I have not been getting the big ones to do much lately. Let me know how y'all do. I don't fish out of my big boat to often anymore. I retired a couple of years ago and with the cost of gas I am out in my 14 foot duck boat with a 40 horse on the back. If y'all see me out stop and say hello, I'll be the fisherman with rods hanging out of the boat everywhere. Talked with a fisherman yesterday and have talked with a few others that say they have been doing good with a tube, I throw a liz, senko, and jig most of the time. Yesterday they were coming off the tree and hitting my liz as I would throw pass the tree and swim it on the surface to the tree in 3 foot.

I fished Caddo yesterday. Caught 6 slots, 1 over, and 4 unders and one white perch. Lost a good fish at the boat on jig. brush hog and jig was my ticket yesterday.
