Haven't been on Cross in quite a while....has anyone noticed if they are catching any perch in the shallow water yet....have they moved in?

Might head out there Saturday afternoon..

Thanks,
Scottie

Scottie, last I heard they were still catching them in a bit deeper water on shiners...in the trees and around docks.  The dogwoods have NOT started blooming yet so I don't think they have moved shallow yet.  ;D

Scottie,

Out there today, talked to a perch fisherman in Mallard Bay and he caught four fairly quick behind me.  He was fishing from the bridge back into Mallard Bay on the left.  Biggest he said was about a pound.  Water was still muddy and temp was 54.

Thank for the info.....I had noticed some fishing in the trees and somewhat shallow on Caddo last week and saw them catch a few...

Want be long... :)
