Water Temp:  57-59
Wind:  South 10-15mph

Okay Lee....so about those 3 lures you owe me for that fish.....well, the contest continues (Brian and I fibbed a little - the fish was just under 6).

Brian and I launched out of S. Lakeshore about 4:00 and immediately got onto a pattern picking up 6-8 slot fish on protected sides of banks and docks in trees with spinnerbaits and traps.  When that bite slowed down later in the afternoon we switched lures and found 3 good keepers before dark.  One of these girls was fat.

But shoot....compared to the fish from this weekend everybody landed (JPick, Mike E, etc) these are little guys.  Nice afternoon on the water, though.

Nice fish.  Hope to be out there sometime this weekend (probably sunday before my schedule will allow that though)

Lee and I went out there this afternoon (03-06-08) for a couple of hours before the front rolled through.  It was SLOW...only managed a slot and a dink.  No movement on the water at all.  Then the temp dropped 20 degrees in half an hour, it started raining, and we hightailed it home.

Catch:  Definitely will be well covered come Sat/Sun.  But going shirtless actually serves its purpose - our whiteness blinds all the other fisherman - they can't tell what we're fishing with.   ;D  It's like a lighthouse warning everybody else to stay away!

Good job...
