Beagle

I am writing this and posting it publibly for a reason. I want everyone to know what might be coming,

I got the pototype jigheads. AWSOME. The perfect combination of weight, size, hook and weedguard. They are unbelievable. Even if they do not go into full production, I have to get my hands on more. They are exactly what I need for what I do with a jig.

Sorry guys. And sorry Karl. Karl knows I go small when the fishing gets tough. Karls great. He did something for me with the poison tails and it worked great. I'll try to get pics soon if it's ok with him. Karl knows I love the Poison Tail Finess jigs. The only thing that gives me troubles is the wire weed guard. It catches alot of grass down here. Karl took his finess jig and shrunk it. He put a fiber weedguard thats only 1/3 as thick as most fiber weedguards. He kept the same hook thats on the small finess jigs but I think he went down to a 2/0. Basicly it's one of his finess jigs with a small fiber weedguard and I think he said it weighs 1/8th ounce. I matched it with the Criger Craw skirt and trimmed it like the finess jigs. The Crigger Craw is almost the perfect color for me. I tweak it a little to give me the color I need. I'm thinking of sending Karl the tweaked skirt so he can see the color We've been using. Maby a Beagle Brown will be the next addition to the Karu lineup. Heck, it's actually the same colors as a beagle dog.  ~roflmao

One more thing about this jig. For the pattern I've been catching a few fish on, this jig is now perfect. I have found fish up against the trees, in the grass, looking bor food thats cruising the top of the grass near the trees. This new jig does not penetrate the grass. I pair it with the small Paca Craw. It has a very slow fall rate also. I'm bouncing this jig on the top of the grass just like most do bouncing a jig on the bottom. I'm not winning any tourneys with it yet but thats my fault, not the jigs.  ~b~ I have made fatal mistakes in my last 3 Cross tourny's. O'well. Thats how it goes.

Lipripper

Beagle your just not right teasing them Bass folks like that  ::) Let me know when you catch a real fish (kitty-kat) on it bouncing it off them trees down there your bound to hook up with one of them soonwe or later   lo lo ;D

Well, I've been catching a few on it. This was my first trip with the prototypes though. The small finesse Poison Tails were almost perfect. They were still a little heavy. The new ones are even better. My problem is that I leave the fish instead of staying in one area and hammering them. I'm waiting on the first TNT to do that.  ;D

Lipripper

Beagle you fish with TNT    ~roflmao ~roflmao eye use a crank telephone it's a lot quiter  ;D

Yeah but the telephone only works on yellow cats. The tnt works on everything!  ;D

Beagle

Oops, I should have been more clear on that one. For the members that do not live in the Shreveport/Bossier City area, the "TNT's are a very popular local series. It's on Cross Lake, every other Thursday during the spring and summer. TNT stands for, Thursday Night Tournaments. It averages 60 to 70 teams a tourney but we have had as many as 100 or so. Payout is very good.

TightLinez

lo lo lo we all thought you were talking dynamite! Thanks for clearing that up.
