Toledo Bend

WOW is all I can say...I fished Cypress Bend Saturday..7 to 2 pm...I caught 8 fish 3 sixs, 2 fours and 3 in the 2-3 range..one spot..13 feet close to shallow water..C-rig..baby brush hog..cotton candy..Went back Sunday..I caught lots of under 14" Kentucky Bass and a few Blacks...Not anything like Saturday..ITS ON

You forgot to post the gps coordinates of where you caught those big fish.(haha) Sounds like you had a heck of a day. I'm going on saturday, so I'll be sure to post my results. Were you fishing the north end or south end.

Great catches! Looks like things are turing on.
Cypress Bend is in the mid lake area, just south of Pendalton Bridge.

I was at Blue Lake Saturday. My partner and I caught our limit with our biggest 5 going 21.10. Caught almost all of our fish on a red rattle trap 3/4 oz. and a pumpkinseed finesse worm. It was an awesome day!

Great report Ron! I'll also be down there Saturday, hoping for some good fishing! What were the water temps?

thanks nice comments and it was a good try...water temp 51 to 54..there isnt much grass out in tennesse bay...I heard there is good grass south towards Housen Bay, Six Mile..etc...Good Luck...I will be heading back to TB as soon as I can...Let us know how the tournament came out...

I haven't found good grass in Tennessee Bay the last few years, but there is a bunch of it everywhere else south of the bridge. I think I'll go up North this weekend if the weather isn't too bad and see what all is going up there.

roger that on the north end..would like to hear about it..I do not usually fish up there...I like that off shore fishing better than fighting the stumps...but..do let us know whats up there...south of the bridge has toooo much grass...but I will be going back and will share all I can
