Hey Guys... I thought some of you would like to check out this website.  Paul Elias was promoting these on the BASS website.  These seem to be a great idea;

I read the review at Tackle Tour.  Incredible concept.  I'd like to buy them, but I wish there was like a sweet value pack price for them.  Each individual ring cost more than a dollar.

Chances are, they would work for Bass but you can bet your bippy that a 3# Ladyfish, Spanish Mackerel or Tarpon would steal your hooks.  You might get by with them on 6-8# test but on 12 and a matching rod, "No way, Jose!"

Yeah, I'd like to prove that on video.  It is an interesting concept.

I see 100# test split rings demolished nearly every trip.  When I switch to 150# rings, hook hangers get ripped out.  Two 15# fish on the same lure guarantees wrecked lures, even lures as large as then Mann's Stretch 30 Magnum demolished.

 >:( I tried them right after the came out.  I couldn't keep the single wire side toward the lure, it seemed to rotate toward the hook on almost every cast.  I was throwing a rattle trap on a stump infested flat about 10 feet deep.  I caught a 3# and 5# so there was no problem them when it came to landing bass.  I hooked a stump or root two times that day and both times the ring stay with the hook and not the lure.  I went back to using the old David Fritz lure retriever and gave the rest of the pack to my brother in law.  They may have improved them by now, I think a little more bend on the single wire side may have helped.
