When you professional overrun  (hehe we all do) you can pick them out one by one as you will shortly be seen in the video I am loading.....

ALSO

pull out gently untill you reach the snag.... take thumb and roll back as much as you can 2-3 wraps if possible... Grab line and tug with all you got and most of the time you will pull them out... Thumb the spool tho some so you dont work any more down deeper

Spetro can i be entered into tips and tricks contest?

Good Idea ...Here is another one that works on the over runs if  it's not to bad ..tighten the drag all the way down get to the start of backlash, put your thumb tightly on line turn handle 2-3  times and should free up...doesnt sound like it works but it does...a buddy showed me this last summer

throw it as far out as you can and put small piece of elec tape there, if you ever get a  backlash it will not go any deeper then the tape

Sometimes when u pull on the line there may be 1-who knows how many spots that have a V bend shape in them.ive pulled on that a few times and its helped getting the backlash's out :) I got too many of those dang things ~b~
