Vexilar

I don't hear too many people use the Vexilar Edge 2 or the new Edge 3 units.  I looked them up and these units run fairly expensive compared to some of the Humminbird, lowrance, and etc.  I noticed that the Vexilar units don't come with GPS feature even when they run that high.  What's your opinion on the Vexilar units.

Learn something new everyday, I didn't know Vexilar made anything other than flashers! 

The images on the Edge 3 look pretty good. There are a lot of buttons on there but that might actually make it easier to get to some menus/features.

Compared to the Lowrance 520c, it has less screen resolution (320x240) vs (480x480) and cost about $150 more ($799) vs ($649). The Edge 3 does have the dual beam transducer like the Hummingbird units that the Lowrance does not.

Guess it comes down to what fits you best.
