I came in to my possession the other day 2 Hildebramdts Okeechobee Special Spinner baits.... These are NOT the average spinner... They are huge compared to everything else I have  any idea on age or price.... I can post pics after breakfast.

Also I have a Apex Hot Spot fishing Lure called a Trout Killer in green/yellow/orange made in canada.....Looks to be several years old

All 3 of these are in the origional package and brand new... any ideas what they worth if anything????   Neither Of them I have never heard of... Any info?? anyone use them before???

AJ

these are silver and gold... the gold shimmers like a brand new gold ring i mean it SHIMMERS  there is a 8 on the willow leafs and they are pretty heavy.... Also the material of the skirts is like nothing i have ever seen before.... almost ribbon like more then like what we use now

any ideas??? the pics do not do justice

The skirts looks to be vinyl material. I used to use the old Tom Mann Wooly Bullys with a vinyl skirt and caught many fish on them.  But I do like the living rubber and silicone skirts better.

But I don't think the fish mind as much as the fishermen do.

The only skirting material I know that is older is bucktail, or any fur.   :)

Dought the spinnerbaits are worth much, no more than the new ones. The big blade spinnerbaits were hot down here in the early 80's. I think Roland Martin kinda started the craze by using them on his show back then and they did work then and probablly will now if thrown. Several companies produced the big blade bait including Blue Fox which Roland martin endorsed. The skirts are most likely just flat rubber which was poppular then and still can be purchased, It's the same skirt material used on Lunker Lure buzzbaits.

I used to own a few of those Okeechobee Special spinnerbaits, like Team Fatboy said, back in the eighties. The skirt material is vinyl, actually, same as the old Snagless Sally by Hildebrandt were. I don't remember ever catching a fish on one, and I think I may actually still have one or two in one of these boxes of oler lures I have around here. As far as what they are worth, not much. I've seen them on evilbay so it isn't like there's a high demand and low supply of them.
