:) Hello,I just want to say thanks for the lure.I can't wait to use it.It's great ,thanks again.

Mike Cork

No Problem, just make sure you let us know what you thought about it after you got to play with it a bit :-*

The thanks goes out to you bobsfishing2, for all the great information you posted in the contest. Honestly that is what we feel the contest is all about "Getting lots of great infomatin from around the WWW about specific interests" Thank you for helping out ~c~

I'd like to express appreciation for 5 prizes so far.

A Turbo Rattler Spinner Bait
A Sqworm Buzz Bait Twin Pack
A 7 count bag of Gambler Otters
A Strike Worls Wood Jig
A Kipawa Prop

That's enough to devote the entire next full day of fishing to testing them out. No need to resort to any other lures. We're done with building the garage and it looks like there won't be any need of storm cleanup volunteers here, so tomorrow should be an all day fishing event. I'll let you know how it all works out and report to the mfgr's who supply those items for the contest.

I'm flabbergasted so few take part in the posting compared to potential contributors.

Ouachita,

glad to hear that there is no need for storm clean up at your house. We just got done with the clean up around the yard. Nothing big, just a few limbs to clean up and cut up.

I hope that you have a great day on the water tomorrow. I wish I knew how to get more involvement in the contests but as of yet I am stumped!

I just got the news about the lake conditions. Whole trees are floating into the lake, debris fields all over, a dangerous situation. Most ramps will have to be cleared tomorrow when the cleanup contractors are back to work. I think I'll rake up the green leaves all over the yard instead. We patrolled around town last night and didn't find damage or the expected high water over low water crossings, just lots of leaves blown all over.

No matter where I join I see very little posting activity except among a small core of dedicated people. Most just lurk. More are reading posts than we might guess. I don't think there's a solution even with nice prizes as in the weekly contest. If a sonar, motor, tacklebox full of a sponsor's line of lures was at stake participation would probably jump. Some sites go to that once they get enough sponsors involved, but then so many posters get involved the chances of winning anything are remote. It's really up to the sponsors and how much exposure they are seeking. If the numbers of active members are high enough that's a reasonable way to advertise among potential customers.

I've won quite a few products here in the contests and I appreciate the chance to try them and do rebuy the products I have positive results with and post those results.

Me too bass1cpr I have won several prizes also and have done reports on most of them and after not this comeing weekend but the one after that when I go fishing for 4 days with fish and he shows me how to use some of the other stuff (the right way  ;)) that I have won from our sponsors I will be doing a complet report on ethem too. I don't know the answer to why we don't get more members to post in the contest but I do know it's not because they didn't know about it   ;D Unless they don't look at their PM's  ;)

Iv'e tried and tried to get some of our club members to participate I guess they think they would be giving away all their secrets or they just don't want to take the time. Blows my mind when it's so easy to win some good FREE Products.  ~c~ What more could you ask for.

:) ;D I have for the last week been using the heck out of the items I have won on this contest. Some I have found VERY,VERY,VERY Good, especially since this cold front has stayed around and all the rain we had last week and now.The Bass Stalker Jigs have proved indespensable, the rejuvinade is better than my PLEASE RELEASE ME, and by watching Lee Bailey Jr. again my Buzzin has been Buzzin. Tommorow in a federated Tournament on a River I have not fished all year (been meaning to) I thing I'll just take the Stalker Jigs, and he NEW one I just received (postal orker just keft house) a Strike Works Wood jig in 1/4 oz-Cool Beans-, some creature baits, and some nice Buzz Baits....Tommorow I play Dennie Brauer and JIG THE HELL OUT OF THE PLACE...............Conditions would warrant such action, Cold Front, Rainy, Miserable, water at 63 degrees yesterday.............Don't know, but  I am sure going to find out using the products I've won here...............

:( :( First off the Ventrillo is not figured out yet, and secondly I'm kinda glad to be alive....Let me explain-------It started to rain pretty good on the Choptank River Saturday morning as my partner Jon and I put in the water......After everyone got in-all 14 boats that showed (due to the weather), Jon and I started to go up river, when all of a sudden this BRIGHT LIGHT lit up the sky right in front of us..Guess what- Lightning Struck a Huge tree about 20yrds from the boat, I never, I mean never got back to a ramp so quickly in my life, and with that the director cancelled till this saturday the 29th..........Have to see how it goes..........I don't know how to set the ventrillo up?

Okuma500 Click the link below and it will take you to the down load site

http://www.ventrilo.com/download.php

Scroll down to the third box and that will be the down load box. In that box the first down load is a client down load. That's the one you want. Just click the down load button and follow the directions. The first thing that comes up is a dialog box that asks if you want to "run - save - or cancel " you want to click save. Continue to follow the directions and recommendated locations, It's fairly simple, after you do that if something doesn't work right post here and we can trouble shoot :-*
