Help with Eagle 480 fishelite

Twice this weekend while I was running my gps lost signal and the map went blank. I powered down and back up and the map came back. I spoke to ofther Eagle and Lawrance owners and nobody else has had that problem. Does anyone know what could cause this problem?

Does it have the internal or external antenna? Were you in some heavy cover, i.e. trees?

I have an external antenna and it was heavy cloud cover, but other people say when they lose signal the map is still there since the map is stored on the hard drive. All I had was a blank screen.

I would contact the maker of unit.May have a bad connection/unit.IMO

Yep, call Eagle/Lowrance Customer Service. I've never dealt with that model.

check your ground wire on gps unit , the blk and red power cable. I had this problem with my lms 480. also check your pos,neg wires that feed the main fuse panel.
