Some of the spinnerbaits and buzzbaits that are sold have a 1/2" piece of clear tubing over the hook point and barb.  Cut these in half and slide over the "eye" end of the trailer hook and pierce this tubing with the other hook to keep the trailer hook from sliding up and down the shank of the other hook.
