Electrical Problems with Tracker Marine Fishing Barge 21

I need help!!

I have a 2004 Tracker Marine Fishing Barge 21 (pontoon) with a Mercury 50HP. I hooked up a new fish finder directly to the positive and negative leads on either side of the terminal block located under the control center. Turned on the fish finder and it worked just fine. So I said let's take it out for a test drive and when I turned the ignition key every thing when dead. Nothing worked. I disconnected the fish finder and tried it again, still nothing. I have power all the way up to the ignition key and the battery indicator says I have power but as soon as you turn the key everything goes dead, the batter indicator goes to nothing.

Any ideas what is causing this??? Help!!

I'm betting you accidently bent/pushed /shorted something out while you were under there installing the sonar. I'd start looking at the ignition switch.
