Bottom Line Fishing Buddy 1101

Just got a Bottom Line Fishing Buddy 1101 and the thing has just locked up on me. I used in on Lake Wylie a week ago and went to use it on Lake Norman this past weekend and the things is completely locked up. I have changed batteries and it will come on and then i cant change any of the settings or turn it off. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this or has anyone had a similar problem?

Okay so this thing suddenly started working Monday night. I have no idea what i did or how i fix it. I just took the new batteries out and put the exact ones back in and it came on and started working just fine. I think this fish finder has a mind of its own.

It seems to work really good, when it works, i still have no idea what happens and the fish finder came with the boat i purchased so i forsee an upgrade in the very near future.
