New To The Site

Hi All,
IM new to the site and a new on my way to be a die hard fishing fan. Are there any fishing clubs in oklahoma city area? You guys know any good spots whether it be lakes or ponds. I see that there are alot of ponds when i drive all around oklahoma city, especially one off of the tunpike and county line road. That is a really big pond but havent fished there.

Welcome to UB GetSomeBass.I haven't ever fished any of the ponds around OKC,but I have fished out at Lake Hefner and Thunderbird.I've had some succes around the dam at Hefner.Thunderbird is producing some nice fish right now in the flooded brush.

went to the float docks at hefner yesterday for a bit around 7:30. I used shad jigs cause that was all i had. No luck at all. the lady said she uses minnows and liver and she caught alot when she went in the past. Anyone know anyone about these float docks?
