My spinner bait storage tip.

Ok after several people have asked I decided to post this tip.

This is a easy compact way to store 25 spinner baits, chatter baits or jigs for under 3 buks.

Just go to walmart and pick up a Cd wallet like this one. Its $1.99 and will stop your spinner baits, chatter baits and jigs from getting tangled. It also protects them from the sun and elements so the skirts last longer and the paint doesnt fade.

yeah i've been doing this one for a while as well it really is the best spinner bait holder.

it's great cause you can sort them by colors, weight, style etc anyway you want and the conatiner fits in the side pocket of my bag

I have 3. each is a diferent size. They are sorted by color. I used a fabric pen to write the size on each pack. well on the first 2 I did. I havent gotten around to that one yet. You coud just buy different colors for them. i think they come in green, black and silver.

They also work great for jigs and chatter baits.

I have one with my chatter baits and another 2 for my jigs. I rarly use jigs or the CB but I keep the spinners in the bag at all times.

Now if you are like some people and have 80-200 spinner baits or jigs then look into the 200 cd wallet. It has 4 spaces per page on each side. Think of it as a spinner bait/ jig "family album." I think those run 14 or 15 bucks at wally world.

yes. I have 25 spinner baits in each of the 3. They buldge just a little but if you rotate the head of each bait it will cut down on the buldge some.

i've had 20+ in a 16 cd case....i just upgraded to a 90_ cd case and have about 70 in there right now!

Great tip! I've got several of them, they also work well for storing extra fly rod leaders, or tied rigs for Flounder.

I found another use for them. They will hold your Wire Wiggle rigs too.

Great tip. I've run out of room in my boxes and was looking into the little hard plastic boxes designed just for spinners, which are rather expensive. I'm heading out tomorrow to pick up a few cd holders.

Ok I have removed my CD's from my case and replaced them with spinnerbaits now what do I do with the CD's.........

Are buzzbaits a little to big to fit in them? Cause the blade isn't flat like on a spinner bait, I was thinking it might have problems fitting in their.

If you get one of the square ones it has a little bit extra room outside the sleves and you can lay the buzzbait spinners there while the head, hook and skirt are still safe inside the sleve.

I have my buzzbaits in my CD cases with no problems

I keep all mine in wrap thats made by Nu Wave Fishing products I think it has about 60 slots and 4 big pouches where I keep my buzzbaits and extra blades and skirts . I dont think the company is in business anymore I got mine from Ebay.

This way cost what 15-25 bucks? My tip cost $1.99 for 30 spinner bait spaces.
