As of this afternoon the lake is very shallow.  I don't know if there is a depth map of this lake.  Even when the damn is in working condition the average depth can't be much more than 6 feet.  My son and I tried fishing there last week and had the motor trimmed up almost of of the water.

Thanks for your reply. I also was up there last monday and they were working on the dam and I guess thats the reason for the low water. I would appreciate ir if you or other people who fish the flowage to let me know what the water depth is in a few weeks and if the dam has been repaired. Again thanks for your reply. ~c~

I don't know why thet call it "Lake Arrowhead", it's basically the Ossippee River with a dam on one end.
Anyway, it's approx. 10-20' deep for the first half mile then if you stay straight there's a hole(that holds fish) at the narrow section then alot of stumps and some rocks as you wiggle around the islands, shallows and coves to the inlet of the river.
If you turn left there's another straightaway but only ranges from 3'-10' and last time out we saw alot of stumps when the water was low. This way leads to alot of good fishing areas once you go left and by the narrows at the sand bank. The "lake" opens up and ranges from 20' open water to alot of shallow back coves and streams. Then it eventually dumps into Ossippee Lake.
Arrowhead is only 20 minutes from me but one of my least favorite waters to fish. Even though alot of guys like it there, I prefer fishing deeper clear water as opposed to a weed infested body of water.
Just be careful of all the stumps and shallow areas as you're motoring by.
