All posts must be on topic, and tonight's topic is -

You have just been selected to fish a B.A.S.S. tournament as an amateur riding with Kevin Van Dam. You get to take 4 rods and one tackle bag that has 3 compartments on the sides and will hold 4 full size Plano boxes. This tournament is going to be held in late March and you can expect the water to be slightly stained 1-3 foot visibility and water temperatures to vary between 57-63 degrees. Weather conditions are unknown and the lake is on the rise because of the previous week's rains.

What do you take with you? Take into consideration all the variables supplied, and let us know what you would take since you can't take it all. Provide a quick reason why you choose that particular item. Items can be repeated by multiple members as long as the reason the item was selected is different. Don't forget items related to personal comfort as well as tackle. List your rod choices, bait choices, even what types of line you will spool up with or carry extra of and why. You will only get one entry for each post so post your items one at a time.  To qualify you need to list your item and give a reason you picked that bait. If your item is a lure you must include the size and color choice for these water conditions.

Example: A white and chartreuse 1/8 oz spinnerbait incase the are feeding on smaller bait fish and this color is fairly universal.

Example: A chrome and silver 1/4 oz. rattle trap because it is my confidence bait for these water temperatures and clarity.

Example: A Chartreuse 3/4 oz. Spinnerbait, because I will be fishing behind Kevin Van Dam and I know he burns up the water so I might be able to fish deeper behind him with a heavier bait.
