Good morning everyone. Looks like we in for another day of heavy rains. Picked up 3 inches yesterday at the house and they are predicting the same for today. Looks like River fishing is going to be out for a while.

LOL Mike,,

I dont know what the heck it was,, Pferox thought red fish, cus he said it had a red spot on tail. It looked like a green cat with a red dot, no idea what it was, and it had teeth. It was about 12 inches long and about 5 pounds. It ate through my line just as I got it on shore. So if anyone has a clue, let me know. Since I didnt know what it was, we let it go.

Boy you got me there, Red Fish do have a spot on their tail but I don't know what they have for teeth. Did it have wiskers like a cat fish? Red fish don't.

no,, not whiskers and it had scales unlike a cat. it just looked like a cross between a bass and a cat. :owith all the hurricanes here, who Knows what could a happened. lol

What colors was it? You said it looked like a green cat $:-\$ I am not familar with what that looks like either

ALL I meant was, it looked like a cat, but was green tinted. kinda like a bass, but had teeth,, just Odd,, and Pferox knows most of the fish around here, but he is baffled.

Looking forward to hearing about your trip. By the way if the waterways you get to fish are not listed in the Florida section just let me know and I will get them up so that you have a place to put your fishing reports.

Looks like the weather is going to be a little chilly around here but definately fishable this weekend.

Ok, where do I find that thread now? $:-\$ still learning my way around here.
We go to Lake Parker and Saddle Creek Park in Lakeland. When it gets warmer, we will go to the Sunshine Skyway Bridge in St Pete. Thats usually a 12 hour day for us, and gets chilly at night this time of year. Its absolutely gorgous out there.

Sharon if you are on the main page of the forum scroll down and you will see

U.S. Bass Fishing Reports & Tournament Information section

inside that section you will see groups tittled North , North West , South , South Central and so on. When you find South East click on it and then look for Florida and click on it and you will see a list of all the lakes we have so far

Good Morning it's 34* here now but moving into the upper 40's today 50's tomorrow. I will be fishing this weekend.

Jerkbaits, spinnerbaits, and Jigs. Yesterday was the first fish of the season and it was a Pig. It's been worth the wait.

Nope Lipper it was a chunk trailer that I designed and hand pour made a change in the legs so it has more action. I'm pouring some to send to Mike to try down south. I've got two working molds now of the new version.
