work and bow hunting....just winterized the boat and put it in storage, tear coming to my eye just thinking about it. i will start getting the bug as soon as christmas hits....i'll start rearanging all my tackle and oil all my reels....I think I need to move down by yall where I can fish all year long 

oh yeah...no golf either, to darn cold

Don't get me wrong now, it is still cold down here... it's just that there isn't anyone telling us that we can't go fishing so we are on the water come he;; or low water

Afternoon.   I did go fishing, but got interrupted by a phone call that.. well. got me upset,  so I packed it in and came home.  Left without even seeing a fish.

I hate cell phones!

I am working on a way to Carolina Rig my cell phone.  I think if I can put it on vibrate that may help too!

This is funny about cellphones...  During my wifes pregnancy with our first child, she had a lot of complications.  Long story short, after several trips to the hospital that week, I was exausted from no sleep.  My uncle offered to take me out fishing.  Well, I got back from fishing and I saw my mother at the local grocery store.  So I wheeled in there to talk to her, turns out she had to carry my wife down to the hospital.  They tried calling mine and my uncles phones but the  place where we was fishing , the signals were weak. 

I keep mine on now, I never know when a call will come from one of my drivers or the brokers.  Even on the water, my work follows me...

It never fails, I ALWAYS get a call when I have a nice fish on.

Afternoon everybody.
About cell phones, I must be a high tec red nec. 
I have a personal one, and now the County gave me one, so I carry both when at work and just the personal one other times.
Since I am on and in the water all over Polk County, I can tell ya these things  since last year's hurricanes, there are more dead spots than active ones.
As I drive along or zip along on the air boat, my phones start buzzin to tell me I have messages, and missed calls, well good thing I have voice mail I guess.

WOW had to go digging for this thread and bring it back to the surface..

Afternoon all. Spent some time out at the lake, nothing to brag about, Ill post in Fl section in a few. Still not up to par to be out there fishing, but I had to get out for some fresh air. 
Wayyyyyyyy to windy to try and use my lures... even my live worms were doing a back stroke to keep from drifting out too far

I'm finally back from running the roads back and forth from Wilmington NC...Traffic really suprised me ...it was very light going thru Myrtle Beach and everywhere else...Did I miss anything?

Day's been dragging for me Sharon..... Not enough work to keep me busy, so I just sit here and look out the window and wonder how the fish are biting

I usually do but with this time change I don't have enough time , so I usually just go home and play with my tackle.
