CATCH and RELEASE CONVERSION CHART
This chart is to help estimate weight of your fish to promote catch and release.
The Future of Fishing is up to the True Sportsman to take care of our resources..
This does not mean you should not take some fish, just take home only what you can use..
Try to handle fish as little as possible, wet your hands first and be careful to avoid stress to the protective body slime, gils, eyes and fins.
Remove hook with longnose pliers or cut line if hooked too deep, measure, take a picture and release the fish to fight another day.

In the end, it's not going to matter how many breaths you took, but how many moments took your breath away.

Here is a paper weight conversion sheet for more detail, down to the 1/4 inch on the front page.

No problem Dug, I've used that one before in a few mini tournaments I've had with friends.  Especially needed here from March 1st - June 15th, closed on non-tidal water, catch and release only.

The one i caught the other day was 25 inches long and a measly 5ish pounds... It must have been a male.  As you can see in the picture on catch of the day it was long and slim.  It was missing 1 eyeball too and i just so happen to take the picture on the side it was missing.

bassamatic

to bad it was missin that eyeball probobly would have been a 7 pounder.lol
never pick a fight with an oldman,if he is to old to fight he will just shoot u

BASSINNMS

I know thats why it didn't... Its gotta be

mclem07

I wonder how much the missing eyeball would have on it's striking ability?  You would think it would make it harder for the fish..

If it had both of it's eyes, you wouldn't have caught it in the first place. It would have seen the sharp pointy things sticking out of the lure
