Do you ever just get tired of how scissors don't work very well on braid, or if you get a pair that does, it's either very expensive or it doesn't last that long.  Well relax folks, I have an inexpensive but effective tip for you.

Go to the nearest dollar store, and in the office supplies section you will probably find (I found 2 for a dollar) those little plastic square letter openers with the razor imbedded.
Looks like this

Those work great and can trim braid pretty darn short.  With ease!!!

Hope this helps.

In the end, it's not going to matter how many breaths you took, but how many moments took your breath away.

Who can remember way back when ther were no dollar stores. We had to wonder about aimlessly looking for stuff.

I love dollar stores! I hate Wal-Mart... Well, it's a hate/love relationship lo

You might even be able to pick out backlashes with the tip of the letter opener too. I've got an extra one of these laying at home. It might just find it's way into my tackle bag.  ;) lo
