Dirt dobbers in your Outboard Hood?

Have you ever pulled your Outboard Hood and had dirt dobber nests on your Motor or inside the hood? Take some house screen wire and cut to fit over your air intakes and use small self tapping metal screws and flat washers where you can and a glue gun where you can't to secure the screen. This will keep them out and prevent one of those nest from coming loose and possibly ruining your engine.

i just put my boat in the water about 2 times a week....they dont come around cause the motor is always hot from being on the water! :roll2:

That would work. I tape a dog flea collar inside the cowl to keep all bugs from going in.

I keep may boat in a Boathouse and due to having the water around they are really bad. They even get under the boat cover and of course all over the boat house rafters and roof.
