I'll be out on the water Saturday and Sunday.  Would have liked to fish Echo on Saturday but can;t fish a full day going to get my new puppy.

which pond would you reccomend for someone who is fishing RI water for the first time other than beach pond and also plans on fishing the renegade open tournys

of the ones they are fishing i have fished wordons and watchaug.  I think wordons ramp is still being redone by the state.  If you go to watchaug for the first time,  be very careful going past the 2 points as you run straight out from the ramp.  The back half of the lake is very rocky.

As fas I know too Worden's is still being worked on.  Down in South County there is Indian Lake.  Mid Section you Tiogue and Johnson's.  Uper End you have Sand Dam, Echo, Wison's and Waterman's.  There are others but figured I'd mentioned a few of more popular

Don't fish it tha often but always seem to have a decent time when I go out there.
