5 fish stringer for the year

Alright, here we go. Lets build a five fish striger for a year and see what happens. I'll start.
8lbs
5 1/2lbs
4 1/2lbs
4lbs
4lbs
for a total of 26lbs. I'm looking to cull. Update your stringer by culling. Round off to the 1/2 pound.

Pre spawn hasn't even started yet in this neck of the woods, so this should be culled easily

Hey Beagle, great post!  I'm in, but I haven't even got out yet this year!  In South Eastern MA where I am, spawn doesn't even start til the last full moon in may. :  (  The earliest I ever got a 5lb. largemouth was the second week of April, just last year. 

How 'bout spottin' us northern guys a couple lbs. per bass?   ;)

40lbs 12oz and I have already culled 3 over 6lbs.

I have a tourney this weekend at a clear water lake and have a few monsters marked on the bed. Next weekend I am going to Fork so hopefully I can cull at least one.

If it's fair to talk about smallies, it has to be fair to talk about northern strain as being different than those 'cheater' floridas... ;D :shocking:

Well it's one of the best five i have ever had in the same day so here goes !

7 1/2 pounds,
6 pounds,
5 pounds,
5 pounds,
4 1/2 pounds
for a total stringer of
28 pounds on Toledo Bend

Wish me luck, one of my partners are fishing the Jay Yelas Challenge on Sam Rayburn this weekend and big bass per hour is 1000 dollar for first, 750 for second, 500 for third, 250 for fourth, and 100 for fifth and it's like that all day !! Keep your fingers crossed for me.

I get to throw away that 6lb 10oz shiner and upgrade almost 3lbs.

43lbs 2oz and I have already culled 4 over 6lbs. Leaving in the morning for Lake Fork so hopefully I can get rid on one of those 7lb fish.

We're just getting started with our fishing season.  I have to think if I've even caught five fish yet.  I've only had the boat out once, so I'll have to go with the pond here at my apartment complex.

1) 2.5# on a LC CB100 crank bait
2) 2.5# on a Mann's Babby 1-
3) 3# on a SPRO Natural Red Bronzeye  JR.
4) 1# on a Mann's Baby 1 minus

Nope not there yet......

4 fish, nine pounds.  I'll have to go fish some more.  Hope the wife understands.
