does anybody have directions to stump pond?  I was also wondering what the launch ramp is like? thanks for the info.  Anybody fishing this weekend?

Ramp its self is pretty good.  Parking is another story.  Also you really have to watch it there if you have a motor over 10HP.  The old sign said launching and hauling was ok.  They put a new sign last year and saidn no launching or hauling over 10HP and they were giving tickets out.  Directions to the ramp depends what way would you be going to the lake?  If you can get to the Smithfiled Police Station go past the police station with the police station being on the left and the pond on your right. Not to far after the police station take a right the rod will follow around the pond.  Not to far on the right you will see the Fire Station and just a little bit further after the fire station is the ramp on the right.  I would be fishing this weekend but have to work a Promo for Quanntum at Kittery all weekend.

Just take the fresh water fishing abstract with you it states the written rule witch it no use of motors in excess of 10 hp.
     HAVE THE ABSTRACT NO TICKET.

thanks for the info john,  also I checked the gate at the lake in cranston and it was open with no ice, I may head there for the shake down run with the skeet today.  I saw a  couple boats at the park practicing for the charity event next sunday.
